Before arriving each hunter needs to purchase a spring conservation hunting license through the Missouri DNR website. If you do not, you will be unable to hunt and your deposit will not be refunded.

Feather Creek Outfitters does not provide firearms, ammunition, or clothing for hunters. Hunters will need to bring proper clothing depending on weather forecast. Hunters must use steel shot during the hunt. #2 shot is highly recommended.

During the spring conservation season hunters are allowed to use extension tubes on their shotguns. We highly encourage hunters to use these for the best experience.

Questions

What types of hunts offered?

At Feather Creek Outfitters we hunt a high traffic area under a large amount of birds coming to feed off large refuge areas and other wetlands. We hunt out of pit blinds, permanent full body spreads, and/or A Frame style blinds.

What is the booking process?

Shoot us a phone call/text, message us on social media, or fill out a booking inquiry. Once dates are confirmed, a $50 per person deposit is required to lock in your spot.

What is your cancellation policy?

A $50 per day NONREFUNDABLE deposit is required to confirm your hunt. If there is extra room in the blind we may fill the rest with another group of clients. If you have 6 or more hunters, you may request a private hunt.

Do you provide equipment?

Yes, we set up all the blinds, decoys, and other electronics. Clients are expected to show up with proper licensing, clothing, firearms, and ammunition.

Are guides included in packages?

Yes, guides will always accompany you during your hunt. Guides will operate all electronics, move equipment daily, and call the shots.

What type of lodging do we offer?

Our lodge is an old farmhouse with 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen, and living room. Our beds are bunks which can sleep 8 hunters comfortably. Our lodge is located 7 minutes from town with grocery stores, bars, and restaurants.

Can I bring my dog?

While hunting with us at Feather Creek Outfitters you will have the experience of hunting with professionally trained and tested retrievers. We understand everyone would love to bring their favorite hunting companion to the blind. Our dogs will take care of the retrieving for you.

Harvested Game?

Birds harvested during the hunt must be taken home. Feather Creek Outfitters is not liable for any harvested birds shot by clients.
